Zone Hockey Course Update.

With the training cancelled most of you were tucked up in the warmth of your homes.

Except that is for Anna Pritchard and I who attended the Zone Hockey Course at Eye. At least it was inside.

Run by Charlie Farrow we considered the concept, rules and ways of engaging all young people, particularly those with special needs or with limited mobility. Could be played by wheelchair users as well. As the name suggests it is based on zones that only you can play the ball in. Similar to the concept of netball zones.

Good for teaching positioning on the hockey pitch as well. All helps towards our Club Mark. Umpires course next.
